Teacher Training

Hiring
The hiring process at GCIS is designed to identify passionate and skilled educators who are committed to fostering a positive and innovative learning environment. We seek candidates who align with our values and are eager to contribute to our mission of providing a world-class education. The hiring process:
Advertise Position
The first step in our hiring process is to advertise the position. We post the job opening on various platforms, including the school website, and job boards. This ensures we reach a broad audience and attract diverse candidates.
Screening
After receiving applications and resumes, we move on to the screening process. We thoroughly review all submissions to identify candidates who meet the minimum qualifications and criteria. This helps us gauge the suitability of candidates before proceeding to the next stage.
Interviewing
For those who pass the initial screening, we schedule and conduct in-depth interviews. These interviews involve a combination of behavioral and situational questions designed to assess the candidates' teaching skills, experience, and compatibility with our school culture. As part of the interview process, candidates may also be asked to provide a teaching demonstration or submit a sample lesson plan for evaluation.
Selecting the Best
Once interviews are completed, we evaluate the candidates' performance, including their teaching demonstrations. We check references and verify the candidates' qualifications and background to ensure they meet our standards. The hiring committee then discusses and compares the candidates to select the best fit for the position.
Hire Teacher
The final step is to hire the selected candidate. We extend a formal job offer outlining the terms of employment, including salary, benefits, and the start date. Upon acceptance of the offer, we complete all necessary hiring paperwork and onboarding procedures to integrate the new teacher into our school community.
Throughout the process, we prioritize transparency, communication, and mutual respect, aiming to make the experience as smooth and informative as possible for all applicants.
